Why would a church need insurance, when they have an all knowing, all seeing, omnipotent god?

Oh, don't go there again (hah)!...just be thankful the insurance companies might end up being the spiritual inspiration for criminal background and other long-overdue checks on pastors and other church staff. Whatever it takes to keep those hypocrite levels down....

Just like regualr society. The problem is with the perverts, not the Church. They have infiltrated, now they need to be rooted out of all aspects of society, not just the Church.

Agreed, the perverts are here, there and everywhere (sigh)... But when one walks around in a special collar and robes claiming to be next of kin to the Lord, the pervertness is far more unseemly. In fact, I'm feeling pissed off just thinking about it now!!!

You are asking for trouble when you demand that the priests deny their own human sexuality. Paranoia about sex is one of the great weaknesses of the Christian religion.
