smartphones, dumb stories
by richard_lee_morris

1. Is the NYT article on pink smartphones taking a cue from Sex and The City. The box office hit portrays women as obsessed with fashion, and especially shoes?

2. Is the NYT taking a swipe at Hillary by associating technology with a "mans world"? Hillary reportedly is "manly".

3. My wife is not amused by such "chilvary". She is a small business owner, and knows how to use a PC and cell phone.

4. My female co-workers at a software maker are not amused by such "pink" references. They not only use PCs but they create and document software.

5. I am a man who (occassionally) wears a pink shirt. What does the NYT make of that? Arnie might say, "Girlie Man".
