You would think that a country such as ours could come up with a little more common sense. Why has the current President and Vice President gone this long without being impeached? How far can an administration ruin a country and go unchastised? Oh, the people cry out for relief but don't seem to have the inclination to kick the bums out of office.Then you can look at those running for the next four or eight years. They all make their big promises and give the people rhetorical candy to get elected, but we all know who runs the country...lobbyist, big oil, lawyers, lenient judges, and big corporations. There will be no change that will get our country back on the right track. If I were a foreigner, I would be looking at the state of the United States and think 'what in the hell are the people thinking'? That my friends is the question.

Give us a break! Moneyed interests have only been running this country for a little over 230 years. You expect us to solve problems like these in one night?

Certainly puts Clinton's BJ into perspective. I'd personally pay for a prostitute to go give Bush a BJ if it would then give him magical budget-balancing powers. Clinton handed him a $128,000,000,000.00 buget surplus, and he's handing off a $490,000,000,000.00 deficit. Just amazing.

That said, moneyed interest really have been running things for several centuries, not just in America but more or less everywhere. It's a little bit more overt in this administration, but it isn't anything new.
