Should we be afraid? VERY afraid?

The Buildburgers group is what it is-a bunch of wealthy people who are from the western world who want to remain wealthy and remain in positions of power secured by wealth rather than politics. Rich people have done this for centuries and have long understood the benefits of networking among their own.

The so called "shadow government" is a bit of a stretch. I doubt highly that these men gather together to seal the fate of Mulder and Skully as many people would indicate. The value of their meetings has much more to do with the day to day networking they will do later by phone, email, and most importantly MONEY. These people are beyond personal wealth-they couldnt be poor. They are looking ahead 50 or more years to see about where to invest and plan-and in that way, this is about Wall Street and about global plans to spend money-who and on what.

For example, if Kissinger is telling Rockefeller that he thinks there will be a war in the middle east in five years, Rockefeller makes sure the factories he has are positioned to make tanks and planes-he has engineers designing them for desert combat and he has plans of who in the US government would be directing the spending which of course goes to his factories. It is of course a bet of sorts-Rockefeller cannot guaranty that war and the profits to follow can he? I guess it all depends on your point of view.

It is true that politics is part of the process, but not the same way we see it normally. The Bilderbergers need to know every angle-dem and con and maybe even some independents or alternative parties. Sure, they want to listen to the potential candidates and are happy to offer names from their own lists of friends-influence cannot be measured with money the way it can with people you pick. Deals are made with politicians I have no doubt-and of course there is always the money to influence the elections-but why worry when you choose the candidates by being part of the vetting process? I doubt you care who wins when you helped pick both the dem and the con candidate-to say nothing of influencing who goes into their cabinets and staffs.

How much influence do they have? Well it depends on how you view the world. They are about money and it all ties them together really. The Bilderbergers are not really interested in culture or personalities or religions unless they play a role in the fortunes of the club members-so their influence remains largely on the investment world and the corporate world.

To have a reporter there makes sense-especially to tell us who is in the club. But I wouldnt expect a report on the crystal ball reading which goes on there. This is a gathering of people who can and do influence world events-of people who play the game from 50,000 feet above it all. But it is also internally competitive and in many ways is like Survivor Wall Street-let the backstabbing begin!

Can't guarantee a war?

"Can't guaranty a war" was followed by "Depends on your point of view".

Kissinger was well known to start wars and to keep them going.

Bush no doubt planned the Iraq war before 9/11.

My point is that such things COULD have been stopped. A press that looks deeply into facts or lack thereof and a congress who insisted on same would have easily kept us out of the Iraq war-but money won.

Yet look at the revolutions in the US, France, and Russia in the last 200 years. Those who supported groups like these soon were out of power, out of property, and in some cases, no longer in posession of their lives. It is a dangerous game to bet on wars and lives and world scale economies. It can be most profitable, and controlling much of the power certainly does increase your odds-but it is not completely house odds so long as greed, corruptionl, and fate have a role to play too.

I think with the Iraq War, you are exactly right that something was being planned before 9/11. As republicans never fail to note, even all the leaders of the Democratic party were rattling sabers on Iraq since the late 90s, too (the money goes both ways?). But it was Cheney and his Energy Task force taking good looks at Saddam's oil fields in March 2001 that really made this materially apparent.

In spite of this, your condition of "fate" is important too, because without 9/11, there'd be no Iraq War. Or perhaps there would be, but we'd have had to drum up some new Saddam aggression. What 9/11 brings is a new paradigm for defense: the pre-emptive strike and the nation-building for the sake of democratic reform. Long-term commitment to the region--and all that implies.

Are you in the "Bush Lied and It's a War for Oil" crowd?

So where is the fucking oil? Or are you paying $1.00 a gallon out there in Buttfuck, Iowa, running the chevy pick-up on goose shit and corn.

Or are you a "9/11 Truther"?

Guess what douche bag? We're going to do it again, pre-emptive strike, this time with Iran. Actually the Jews will do the heavy lifting for us, when Benny N. takes over in Israel.

Now you know what the Bilderberg Group is planning, that is as of last night when I was at the meeting. Be sure to tell your retarded "shadow government" friends.

YOU are clearly the idiot.

Bush's former press secretary and numerous others close to him have all admitted he lied to start the war in Iraq. That isnt a question anymore. He claims billions of dollars worth of intelligence technology and people misled him, but the facts dont really lean that way.

As to the $1 a gallon gas, that isnt what he had in mind. See there is a limited amount of oil in the world and Iraq has a lot of it. Why would Bush want to LOWER the price? It makes a little more sense to anyone with a brain to be the one handling the oil as the price goes UP you moron. Who wants to lower the price of oil? Certainly not the people who sell it.

As to the Bilderger, rich people like to hang out with each other. Us poor folk drink beer in the bar and talk about how we are going to make a million with some invention or by hitting the lottery. The Bildebergers are way past making a million. They plan to make BILLIONS and since they own the billion dollar companies and influence the governments which pay for the wars and the BIG projects, they hang out and drink wine and scheme about that.

Now take your ignorant ass back to Georgia.
