Crude Oil hits $138/barrel, Dow dives 400.

Meanwhile Barack O'Shame says he will launch an "Apollo style program " to develope new energy sources.

What in the hell does this mean to you and I as our nation is bleeding to death economically today?

Absolutey nothing.

Barack O'Shame, Clinton, Biden, Dodd - Dem candidates for the Dem 2008 presidential nomination- have been in the US Senate 2007 year to date, Pelosi has controlled the US House 2007 year todate

Since April 2007 on their watch, the national debt has increased ` 900 billion dollars, gas has gone from $2.91 to ~ $4/gallon and crude oil has jumped from $64 to $138/barrel

On all their watch.

Now we get a promise of an "Apollo type program"

Barack O'Shame is the name selling false hope is his game.

Bogus.

From Today's Papers

For his part, Obama was in Virginia yesterday launching a tour about economic issues that will take him to several of the states that Clinton won as part of his efforts to get white, working-class voters on his side. The Democrat also said he would launch an "Apollo-style program" to develop new energy sources and he's "almost certain" that he'll go to Iraq before the election.

How stupid can you be?

You're claiming that the economic devastation of the past 7.5 years is all Obama's fault?

accept the fact that it is time to do some domestic drilling and build more refineries? Maybe put in some windfarms and a few nuclear plants?
not just Obama but all the dipshit dems

that refuse to let America gain new domestic sources of energy.

Same old spam, Skeppy. I'll be kind tonight and let you chant your silliness.

If any others have questions about the last two days and the Dollar driven oil spike, ask away. It was ugly, but the Euro longs are happy.

We are doing lots of domestic drilling and existing refineries are operating under 90% capacity. Lots of windfarms going in and the big banks won't finance nuke.

Last two weeks have been an excellent example of the Dollar/oil relationship. No longer any question of what has driven the commodity spike.

Horse manure. I am stating the

the economic devastation that has taken place since April 2007 has been on the Democrat watch and that Barach O"Shame promises us more of the same.

Crude oil has gone from $64 to $138 on the Dem's watch in just 13 months, buster.

As for your stupid MoveOn.org propaganda under Bush unemployment levels were for over 50 months at historic lows. Go shovel your manure in some Progressive's yard.

Hey, pal, that is exactly what
by Skeppy2

the Dems will do --put in some windmills and a nuclear plant or two.

NEITHER will do diddly squat about getting our 18 wheelers even $3 deisel to haul our food to market.

Suck your weak dollar. Just what

is Barack O'Shame is the name selling false hope is his game going to do about the weak dollar? Mine gold?

Dems certainly can have some blame.

"Crude oil has gone from $64 to $138 on the Dem's watch in just 13 months, buster."

You have trouble with numbers, Skep. The Dem watch has been about 17 months. Oil went from $24 to $64 on Bush's watch before the Dems won back congress, when it was the Republicans with Hastert and Frist. Bush is the common factor and the deficits are the cause of the weak Dollar.

It's the weak Dollar and both McCain and McCain Lite will continue it because Americans love their big government, as long as someone else gets the bill 30 years in the future. At least it's all predictable, which is how we profit from the situation.

BUt you don't seem to understand why
by Smiley1979
The price of crude has skyrocketed because the dollar is tanking, which is the result of the bush deficits. Essentially, you're blaming the Dems for not being able to fix 6 years of disastrous gop economic policies in 17 months.

The drilling is going on just about anywhere with oil and the existing refineries have been constantly expanding over the years and are currently, in summer driving season, only operating at 89% capacity.

Some of the most interesting drilling is in the Gulf, deepwater rigs. You should know this, as I've mentioned it to you and the others pushing the same talking points for the last year. Check out some stocks in the field to give you an idea of what and where. NOV builds the rigs, RIG and NE are major drillers, SNG is a small cap doing test wells in a thousand feet of water off Trinidad.

Not trying to be mean, Goofie, but it's obvious you haven't looked into what you're posting on. Go a little deeper than just passing on emails.

Oil is at record prices
by Smiley1979

Anyone who thinks this hasn't opened up new drilling sites that weren't previously economically feasible has no business discussing the oil industry.
