Both of you say that this experiment in this so-called Buddhism would have been easier in a yurt. I'm sure I speak for your office mates when I say it would have been easier for everyone else if you'd have been in that yurt. What with David hanging around ladies' room doors, and Hanna bringing him into that meeting, everyone at Slate and The Atlantic must have been relieved that this lasted only 24 hours. People go into retreat to get away from the world, but it also serves the purpose of getting the retreaters out of the world's hair.
