familiarity breeds contempt
by Leyah
I recently retired and I am now forced to spend too much time with my husband. Before I had my own job and feeling of accomplishment. Now, because of all of this time together,I am losing my sense of self-worth and self-identity. One needs to have his own space. I would never make a Budhist- let alone a person who would be willing to experiment in a 15-foot marital proximity trial. While my husbnad and I watch television together, we do not play cards together except at the casinos. Obviously, we have been married a long time . I give credit to Hanna and David for their deep devotion and understanding of one another. Since they are in the same field, they are on the same page as far as their career goals are concerned. Also, they are raising children together. My children are grownups themselves and would never want to be with their partners 24/7.
