I was married to a man who left every morning at 5:30, came home late and went to sleep. He never paid any attention to me and our marriage died. I am now married to a man who shares his daily life with me. We have no power struggles between us and find that we can spend many hours, together, including work hours and there is no strain. We each do things apart but given the choice, would rather be around whether I'm doing my make-up or he's watching sports We love each other unconditionally. Marriage isn't a competition. I know that the day one of us is gone, we will wish we had any moment again. Cherish your time together.
