is that he is extremely popular with ordinary people abroad,as much if not more than Bill Clinton was.He definitely has the goods to restore our respect and standing with the greater world citizenry---although given the last 8 yrs that can't be all that difficult.

I'm quite sure that if he becomes president we just won't have to worry about another 9/11 and perpetually have to live under a regime that bases it's relevance on a culture of constantly keeping us and our allies in a constant state of fear......I think it's rather apt that the primary representative of the Republican party that has done so much to damage this country,looks and sounds like a dinosaur!

..One has to remember that after Jan 2009,republicans have to be constantly kept in check---they always come up with tricks----we forget that at our peril.

I can't claim from any personal knowledge that O is popular abroad but I also don't know that Mac isn't just as popular, particularly with the important ones, the world leaders, most of whom he's met.

He is as capable of "restoring world respect", assuming we've even lost that much. Most people, ordinary or otherwise, accept people for what and who they are - not what someone else may or may not have been.

But what is most important is that for all his charm and speaking skills, we are not electing an orator, an inspirational motivator. We are electing a president.

Obama has shown a talent for not handling himself nearly as well in debates or off-the-cuff questioning. He tends to stammer, pause, and stammer again. He is not nearly as self-assured under these conditions as he is reading from a speech or teleprompter.

I think as we continue, there will be more and more people, particularly those who are still in decision mode, who will realize that this young man who is so great at promoting "change", will not be able to forcefully and convincingly articulate just how he will accomplish all this change.

And I believe it will become clearer to many (those not swayed by emotional but empty rhetoric) just how important the experience of an old dinosaur really is.

The 84% figure mirrors other recent polls on the same issue. A Canadian Poll put the figure at 85%.

Those towers were demolished using Demolition charges. Google 911 squibs and see the prematures going off in all three towers that day.

Where was te plane wreckage at the site of the Pentagon crash. Why has the government not released video footage from the many Pentagon cameras and the three confiscated video from a gas station, traffic cam and a hotel video camera. The FBI confiscated these video minutes after the crash. Tell me 911 was not an inside job. The Goverment disclosed all the suspects the same day for christ sake.

People - how f'ing obvious is all this. Marvin Bush's Securacom Company was in charge of the securityy for Logan and Dulles airports as well as the World Trade Center. Coincidence? I think not.
