For the first time, there actually is a powerful American who represents what the hype has been selling overseas. Obama alone will stop the puking overseas. He doesn't have to do another thing. But should he open his mouth, they will listen. Which is not the case with anything the Republicans dish up.

I think that we're talking about real American as in someone who represents what America is supposed to represent. Equal opportunity for all regardless of race or class.

For a mixed race child raised primarily by a single mother who had to rely on food stamps to get by some of the time to win a major party nomination is historic and is the fufillment of the American dream.
