What a ridiculous dialog. Was Reagan really great, or mostly great? Was he actually kinda centrist and wise, or mostly myth? blah freaking blah blah.

THE MAN WAS A FUCKING TRAITOR. Repeatedly.

He negotiated an extention of the Iranian hostages captivity, done effectively as a private citizen and in secrecy from the sitting government. He sold missiles to a terrorist nation that had just committed an act of war against us. He gave money to drug dealers and war criminals to wage a proxy coup against an elected foreign government ir direct violation of an explicit congressional law. He lied about all of it and his successor preemptively pardoned his cronies and co conspirators. And God knows what else.

The thing Reagan's children leared from uncle ron was that you can commit massive and open acts of treason and get away with it, and the historians will glibly write on pretending that none of it ever happened.
