God works through good people
by RML Returns

It is not people who claim to be representing God and clearly do not (notice all terrorists say "God is Great" before they blow up something.) The fact is that ANYONE who claims to be acting on Gods behalf is most likely selling you something or is clearly NUTS.

But the good news is that God works through anyone doing the right things for our people and our planet. Regardless of whether someone is quoting chapter and verse-after all, it is GOD that we ask for help, not a book. The Bible can be (and has been) mistranslated, misinterpreted, and completely used for all the wrong purposes (just like the Koran). The Bible is not immune to insane readers like David Koresh and Jim Jones-both of whom were daily Bible readers.

Better to vote for someone who has good ideas and convictions than someone who simply claims Gods favor.

Unless God is doing endorsements, I will vote for people and pray that God works through them-not vote for God and hope that people will change.

Hey now, THERES an idea! But then why would anyone listen to the Fallwells and Dobsons of this world anymore?

Pretty vague here. What are the "right" things?

Regardless of whether someone is quoting chapter and verse-after all, it is GOD that we ask for help, not a book. When you state the bible has been mis-translated, you're assuming you know the "correct" translation. Which would that be?

Better to vote for someone who has good ideas and convictions than someone who simply claims Gods favor.

Or leave the idea of "god" out of the equation altogether.

God doesn't work threw someone who is just good people. He works through those who will do things his way. He finds one of his own, one he can depend on, one who has proven to be his own.Just because they are good does not mean they would even hear him .
