Deathwatch for Hillary?

Are you kidding me? Do you really think your title for the article is appropriate? Deathwatch for Hillary? How would this come across if you were talking about Obama? It might sound like an "assassination" message. Please watch your description of this strong leader and stop the sexism.

Very appropriate; her campaign is on the ropes.

Are you saying that in the Democratic primary voters have to choose between being a racist or a sexist? Puhleeze.

People who don't like Hillary aren't necessarily being sexist; most people don't like the male offering of the Clinton product line either.

If anyone's been playing identity politics, it's been Hillary. Watching her indirectly attack a core Dem constituency has been pretty amusing. You can vote for us, just don't expect a seat at the grown-up table.

Sexist? Try lame excuse for running a poor campaign.

The best person won, and it just happened to be a black man. Get used to it Miss Daisy.

Not to mention that "Deathwatch" is not an article. It is a column. There have been many Deathwatch column series, and most of them have been about men. Settle down.

Joanie Guy,

You ever hear of something called a metaphor? That's what the Deathwatch is about. It is not about Hillary's actual physical death but rather the death of her nomination chances.

If the situation were reversed and there were an Obama deathwatch it would be just as appropriate. Of course I think if Obama were in Hillary's shoes he would have dropped out long ago for the greater good of the party so the point is probably moot anyway.

Yawn. It must be Monday, because here comes another criticism of the Deathwatch as sexist.

Slate has hosted at least three other Deathwatches: Paul O'Neil <link>; the Gonz-meter <link> and Rumsfeld <link>.

Where were you and your charges of sexism then?

For some reason (blinders), you and many many others fail to see that the most sexist thing we have going this election cycle is all the women voting for Hillary because she is a woman.
