Denver, Denver, Denver. - -

But Ickes' admonition on Michigan means that the Clinton camp has not signed off on the new "magic" number: 2,118 delegates. And that means any claim by Obama to be the presumptive nominee will carry an asterisk -- perhaps all the way to the late-August convention in Denver.

Indeed, along with Ickes' words, the chants of "Denver, Denver" by disgruntled Clinton supporters as the rules committee gathering broke up must be uneasily echoing in the ears of other Democrats.

Why do you think the Obamites are carrying on so bad? The Clinton supporters are not going to back Obama. Not with th3 mess the DNC has created.

You have heard of a Woman Scorned? You ain't seen nothing yet! :o)

What is funny,is that so many republican women are angry over the treatment of Hillary.

That fat faced Russert smirking into the camera yesterday and saying,"Give it up,Hillary, you have lost!" Right after she won 68 to 32 in PR.

Sadly for the Obama Campaign. Obama is just NOT Trustworthy
by LaurieAnnM

that's why I as a Hillary voter can not vote for him.

Any person who would sit in a racist hatemongering church for twenty years and then lie about it at first and keep changing his story about his knowlege opinion and view of an issue that goes to the heart of who Obama is a person and what he believes and has been indoctrinated to believe in Wright's Church...is simply not presidential material.

I hope her supporters do go to Denver..but it won't matter..because the black racist element within the DNC lead by Donna Brazil ,will see to it that Obama gets the nomination anyway.

I will be changing my party to Independent.

I registered Indy originally in 1973. And voted for McGovern that year. because we were allowed to vote for either party as an Indy in New York State.

Only been registered democrat since 1983.it will be good to get out of this party now that it's been revealed how inept they really are.

It looks like the democratic party is destined to become a marginalized and fractionalized party comprised mainly of an Afro Centric base and the old white socialist far left fringe types.

I'm a registered independent, but if comes down to Obama v. McCain, I'll have to hold my nose and vote for Obama. McCain would ignore the environmental crisis, further bloat our military spending, drive the country into huge debt, contribute mightily to the shift of national wealth to the super-rich, expand the notion of the imperial presidency, and possibly start a war with Iran. Obama may be untrustworthy, but so is McCain, and McCain has much more dangerous plans and allies than Obama has.

I can't do thatArkady. Though I respect your right to make your own choice.

For me, at least I believe McCain is a patriotic American who will not willingly do anything to harm the country and I believe he realizes our troops in harm's way deserve both respect and an honorable means to withdraw down from our actions in Iraq.

But,with Obama, I just do not trust him to be working in America's best self interests.

McCain for all of his bluster has said as much about his own realization that we need to pare down and begin the withdrawal of troops in Iraq.

McCain has said this.

It doesn't get much press because the nutcase libs like Olbermann, on MSNBC, only focus on distorting McCain's remarks about 'staying there for 100 years'.

When McCain said he would stay there for a 100 years he didn't mean in a combat scenario.

He meant it more the way we kept peacekeeping guards in Korea and Germany for decades.

But with Obama, I just do not trust him to protect America or to truly be working for our country's self interest and safety..

I'm a Registered Libertarian, but I vote for the man not his party. Most of the time the best choice for any office is a Republican. But not it McCain's case.

The last time I voted for a Democrat never happened. I never voted for a Democrat. Obama is different. He does have some Liberal Tendencies, but when I weigh those against his insight and his plans for Iraq I find him a weightier prospect than McCain.

McCain is a loose cannon. He is not to be trusted. He pretends to care for our boys but he really only cares about power. I spent many months reading about Obamas work in Illinois. That man is the Real Deal. He's a worker. He is intelligent and he is a polished politician. He is what we need at this time for a President.
