It was clear by due process of the DNC nomination rules that the candidate that clinches the 2,025 will be the nominee, but from what I just read on msnbc: Obama's total increased to 2,052, and Clinton had 1,877.5, in The Associated Press count. NBC News shows Obama with 2,055.5 and Clinton with 1,880"...........whats going on here?

The bar gets higher with Michigan and Florida included, even half-included as the compromise solution dictates.
The Clinton people, when last heard from, want all the Florida and Michigan votes counted... for Hillary. They also want a pony and an x-box, and a new set of snow tires for dad.
In short, we're in fantasy land here, still. HRC, Ickes and company ar threatening to make an ugly stink at the Convention (and if anything persuades the remaining superdelegates, plus a lot of the ones who've committed to her, to call this one over and done and for Obama, this might be it), especially if she collects a big symbolic vote in Puerto Rico. Sometimes the Clintons are in the real world, and sometimes they are on vacation.
Really, isn't Puerto Rico just like Nantucket, but with nicer people?

Does Hillary now get to include the popular votes in FL and MI in her official count?

she's been including them for a while. What's her "official" count? Such a saga. I've gone from interested to vaguely sympathetic to ironically amused, to impatient, to angry and now to a sort of [shrug] resignation. Some politicians, like George "Macaca" Allen, the more you see the worse they get. Hillary isn't in that league, though it's early, yet.

Definitely! With her landslide victory in PR, she sure gains the ground of issuing her debate to the Supers dees that she has won more popular votes. But the super dees wont eat that, lets just cut the crap, Obama owns this nomination.PERIOD. Thanks anyway oxyboggle.
