Who's in the best position to judge
by anticorp

Who is in the best position to judge the health care situation in the US? A university professor who I'd bet dollars-to-doughnuts has never had difficulty with his own health insurance or maybe someone else? As an economist, one would think the author would provide economic support or some other support for his value judgment that there is a problem with reducing physician salaries, instead of just accepting that as a fact.

Now that the UK has been terrorized by the foreign doctors they imported ask again why there is a problem reducing physician compensation. Most doctors are not salaried. They are not employees. If you want to see what sort of health care is provided by foreign doctors try going to a rural area in the US and see how many doctors are from India. Then try understanding the language they speak.
