McClellan was a worker bee and nothing more.

No White House Press Secretary has ever been more than a talking head. If his job descripion says more than that I would be shocked. Why would anyone want to tell him anything or allow him input into any decision? He is a minor level minion, who's job is to pass on information. Everyone tells him what to say and he says it. IMO, that is the function of a press secretary.

Now he has a book. I recommend everyone go out and buy it and maybe he'll be able to buy a bigger condo. That should ease his conscience nicely.
