That description suggests something far more risqué than the reality. The Vanity Fair photo was really no more than mildly suggestive, a tame level of exposure not inappropriate to someone high-school aged.

Calling it "not-quite-nude" just feeds into the ridiculous moral hysteria.

There are many people who find it the pics in a major mainstream publication to be in poor taste, and I have to say I am one of them and I am not some hysterical puritanical prude.

But is the magazine to blame,is the minor child to blame,society in general, or the parents?

Why is it in poor taste and what should be done if anything?
