I hope the fad doesn't kill a good thing
by AtomicWalrus
Crocs aren't attractive footwear, but are very functional. They're great boating shoes because they float, they're non-slip, and are easy to take on and off. They're also good up at my cabin as something easy to slip on when you need to run outside. They're not particularly durable, though, so I do hope that I can still get a replacement pair after the fad dies.

Dude, don't worry - Crocs won't just go away. They're $200 company. Even if they deflate and lose a lot of their market, they'll still be around for a while. You don't get that big and then just disappear completely. And if you're worried, just stock up now. It's not like they're expensive.

Enron had sales about 500 times that large. They disappeared completely. So have a great many other companies.

I share your views AtomicWalrus. As a matter of fact, I'm the only one in the family who loves wearing Crocs because of its functionality. Mom and younger sister wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing it. I'm actually tempted to buy another pair as reserve though. I'm hoping Crocs will stay in the market for a longer time.
