Why is this called "Obama Gaffe-O-The-Day"?
by blacktech

Am I missing something or are close to none of these posts about supposed Obama gaffes? Seriously. I'm cool with someone pointing out to me where are the "gaffes" are, other than just the alleged one about Kentucky. I suspect this is just a title Klaus or someone came up with to get people to click, as Obama is too well spoken to be a "gaffer." George Bush Jr.? Hell yeah. But Obama? That's kind of a stretch.

Oops. I meant Kaus not Klaus.

Obama and his wife regularly make anti-American statements while eerily sounding like failed former president Jimmy Carter, who most nonbiased observers consider to be the worst modern president.. Though many of us believe the Obamas’ mean what they say; however, leftists (and worshipers of Saint Obama) attribute these verbal flubs as being gaffes...

I offer the following sexist Obama remark, "Lay off my wife."...."The GOP, should I be the nominee, can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record," .... "If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family."

"She-who-must-not-be-named" must be too victimized, pathetic and weak to defend herself from her own words.

Obama said to a woman, "Sweetie, if I start with a picture I will never get out of here." And: "Sweetie if I start doing autographs I just won't be ... I am really late."

Obama to his unnamed wife, "Iron my shirt moron."

Well, here's a few rationales:

1. A truly lame explanation of why he sat in Wright's church for 20 years and never caught on that Wright wasa racist hatemonger.

2. He has visited 57 states (yes he said 57 states).

3. His lashing out at Bush on appaisment when Bush said nothing about Obama. Apparently Bush's comment hit a guilty nerve.

4. His bittergate comments

5. telling people his wife is not fair game, even though he uses her extenisvely on the campaign trail. We knew he hated the second amendment; now we find out that the hates the first one as wwell. By November, he should be burning the constitution.

This is the best you can do Mambo? Weak, incredibly weak.

The Wright issue is, well, not an issue. I've sat in parishes with drunk priests, I neither condoned it nor walked out. Some of them were probably pedophiles. Obama should have told people like you to fuck off.

57 states. Maybe Obama visited some twice. And Bush said that too many good OB/GYN docs couldn't pratice their luuuuuuuuve on women. And Bush said too many families can't put food on their children. Please. Just stop. You're making my sides hurt.

Bittergate, another non-issue. Know why? Because he was right. Get over it.

I love it when you conservatives start with the "he hates the Constitution" crap. Obama can't silence anyone. He hasn't tried. He simply told the press to lay off his wife. I guess you wouldn't be man enough to step up and defend your wife. Not that Michele Obama needs defending. She could probably kick your ass.

What a sensitive girly-man you are. Wipe your nose and go back to propping up Grampy McSame.

It is painful, Adrasteia, but this is what we will hear from conservatives as they have nothing good to run on. What can we get from Republicans? Another war? Another lost city? Fewer Constitutional protections? So, count on them to make mountains out of imaginary mole hills.

Oddly enough though, in a recent interview Bill Clinton parised Jimmy Carter and said that he was one of the best American Presidents he ever knew. He said that he was very much inspired by Jimmy Carter?

Which American is not lashing out at Bush? The difference is that Bush dosen't care what anyone thinks. If you are a racist, bigot, poor, uneducated or just a plain fool it's all the same to him, he is the President, he has the Power and that's all there is to it. When he leaves the Whitehouse after eight years he will still be a powerful, influential millonaire and the rest of Americans will still be struggling. This will simply no longer be his problem. McCain knows that, he from the same old school and thought process, the same game. Why should he do anything much different to Bush? If he wins he will leave in a few years as a powerful, influential millonaire just like Bush no matter what people say or think about him. How is this political arrogance going to change anything for struggling Americans?

While Americans refer to Jimmy Carter as the worst president, overseas he has enormous respect. He is welcomed all over the world. There is a lot of good he is doing now that people are not even aware of-- such as when he successfully negotiated a ceasefire between the government and some rebels in south Sudan that allowed healthworkers to move in with interventions against the serious guineaworm disease there. His Carter Center has done tremendous work in disease control, conflict resolution, election monitoring, affordable housing, and so much more. Too bad he is so disliked at home.

Ralph7-- You will most certainly have a problem in Britain where every other stranger will call you "Luv" or "Dear."

Seeing as Obama lives with a wife and two daughters, I'm not surprised "sweetie" comes out so easily. It's a term of endearment, not offense.

Wright isn't an issue? If he sat in church and never listed to what was actually said, then his whole claim to spiritualism is a sham; if he actually listened and digested what was being said AND DID NOT WALK OUT, then his campaign postering is a sham. Take your pick. As for you, if you did noting, you're more of an idiot than obama.

Apparently, obama paid attention in civics class the way he paid attenetion in church. So visiting a state twice allows you to count it as a different state? I have been in in 45 of the 50 states and DC; but according to your infinite logic, each visit allows me to count the state again. So that would mean, by rough estimation, that there are about 575 states in the United States. Wow, my flag is terribly out-of-date. You make the comaprison to Bush. Dubya is't the sharpest toll in the shed, but obama says something that is easily as stupid as anything he has ever said. Hey, you made the the comaprison to Bush as a way of explaining away the gaffe, those are your words. A bit of advice for saint barako; if you want to be president of the United States, you really should know how many states there are.

Bittergate is true? Lets see, in Chicago, little barakie's home turf, has had about 60 murders by shooting so far this year. We have seen the vile bigoted hatred that has been spewed in his church. So I ask you, who are the people who bitterly cling to their guns and their relegion? Looks like people get a good dose of hate from rev wrong and then go shoot up the neighborhood. I think there is ample truth it what is obvious here that ypou seem unable to get. Saint barako piously tells people about his personal relationship with god in his farce of a book, but he he seems curiously unable to acknowledge that others can have the same spiritualism as well. Real man of the people.

The little facist does hate the constitution. We know his opinion of the second amnedment, and now we know he hates the first. Aren't you the least bit concerned about his wiiney pouting whne someone criticizes him? What a pussy this guy is, and he wants to be a leader? What a joke. THe best I line heard about this was, "I don't really care about the color of obama's skin, I worry about how thin it is."

GO wipe the ass of your crybaby obobo, I think he just shit himself aagain.

Name calling and profanity are not only signs of a small mind but also lack of substance. And a small penis.
