...of the President's lack of vision or substance is the very evident fact that President Bush doesn't even know what "democracy" (let alone the difference between "appeasement' and interaction/talking) is. Pres. Bush mistakes elements and characteristics of "democracy" with "democracy itself; thinking that as long as there are elections and a government of laws, a democracy exists. (Facist Germany and Communist Soviet Union had both.) Further, Pres. Bush seems to ignore, or doesn't know the difference between "governing" and "ruling", as evidenced by his embrace of the "unitary President" idea.
