Terrorists, tyrants, and the anti-America
by Ironman
+1/-2 Reply

left known as the Democratic Party members who go by the misnomer of "liberal" (they are really just plain Jane socialists) all agree 100% that the empty suit Obomba is their man. So lets give the cheer and then get a beer!

Rah! Rah! Rah!

Boom! Boom! Bah!

Go Obomba! Go Obomba!

Do the appeasement crawl!

Obomba '08 - for a more dangerous world.

It is truly pathetic when a poster is reduced to uprating their own posts.

It is truly rewarding that a "liberal" Obombacrat as yourself agrees with my post.

It is truly impressive that a Troglodyte such as yourself could be trained to operate a keyboard.

Thanks again by agreeing with me yet again! That's two gold stars from you.

Save that for Obomba. More than rumor has it that he likes sucking c**k while high on crack. And all this while he is Senator! I cant wait for him to invite terrorist's to the old Oral Office for him to appease them on his hands and knees. What a picture that will make for you Obombakooks to behold. All in the service to his country. It must make you very proud.
Bush, Fascism & the anti-democratic right
by middleview

That would be the 27% of the voting population who still think Bush has done a good job and don't mind if Bush has ignored the constitution (which he was sworn to uphold).

People like you think it more important to support your party than to protect the country.

Bush promised to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice and failed. He promised to make our military stronger and started a war that could have been avoided (which has made our military weaker). Barak will refocus our efforts on killing Bin Laden.

Now you support McCain who is opposed to increasing veterans benefits for the men and women who have served in Bush's war. Barak voted for the increase in benefits.

You want to call democrats socialists and hope that people will think "oh, no....can't vote for socialists", but that will only work on people who spend less than a few seconds thinking about what you have to say. The fact is you don't know what a socialist is. You also don't seem to understand what a fascist is, since you are still a pro-Bush republican.

Todays "liberals" ARE socialists and NOT true liberals
by Ironman

The following quotes are from Frederic Bastiat, a classical liberal theroist who was brilliant and very respected in HIS day. Which is a far cry from the moonbat socialists posing as liberals today. So, for you enlightenment:

  • "Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." — from Government
  • "If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?" — from The Law
  • "But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime." — from The Law
  • "[The socialists declare] that the state owes subsistence, well-being, and education to all its citizens; that it should be generous, charitable, involved in everything, devoted to everybody; ...that it should intervene directly to relieve all suffering, satisfy and anticipate all wants, furnish capital to all enterprises, enlightenment to all minds, balm for all wounds, asylums for all the unfortunate, and even aid to the point of shedding French blood, for all oppressed people on the face of the earth.
Who would not like to see all these benefits flow forth upon the world from the law, as from an inexhaustible source? ...But is it possible? ...Whence does [the state] draw those resources that it is urged to dispense by way of benefits to individuals? Is it not from the individuals themselves? How, then, can these resources be increased by passing through the hands of a parasitical and voracious intermediary?
...Finally...we shall see the entire people transformed into petitioners. Landed property, agriculture, industry, commerce, shipping, industrial companies, all will bestir themselves to claim favors from the state. The public treasury will be literally pillaged. Everyone will have good reasons to prove that legal fraternity should be interpreted in this sense: "Let me have the benefits, and let others pay the costs." Everyone's effort will be directed toward snatching a scrap of fraternal privilege from the legislature. The suffering classes, although having the greatest claim, will not always have the greatest success." — from Journal des Economistes

Tell me what Obama has proposed that is taking from one person and giving to another.

How does Bush's policies of tax cuts for oil companies work for you?

Watch this clip and tell me that Cheney is not a fascist, intent on making the White House more powerful at the expense of Congress and the Supreme Court.

You found some quotes from a guy who died in 1850 and somehow think it applies to democrats today. I disagree. I was a republican from 1974 to 2004 and in that time I've seen republicans push the national debt from $900 billion to $10 trillion bucks. That isn't being a conservative. Your quotes include this...."aid to the point of shedding French blood, for all oppressed people on the face of the earth." Who invaded Iraq and why? Was it because of WMD's or was it to free the oppressed Iraqis? "let me have the benefits and let others pay the costs"....isn't that describing Bush's tax cuts?

I take it your big complaint is the proposal to move to universal health care. Look at it from the standpoint of competition. Manufacturers are moving to countries where they do not have to provide health care insurance, either those countries don't require it or the country has national health care (ie...Canada). If we want those jobs we have to fix our system.

Name ONE candidate who has a comprehensive energy policy that truly relieves our dependence on foreign oil and would potentially make the Middle East less critical to US foreign policy and economic freedom?

Obomba decides it is more appropriate to tax "evil" oil with windfall taxes. At the same time congress refused Bush's request to further drilling in America and build more refineries in the US. How does this alleviate our dependence on foreign energy? It doesn't.

And yet Obomba wants us out of Iraq where an anti-American despot would take over and further exacerbate the free trade of middle east oil. How does this alleviate our dependence on foreign oil? It makes us more vulnerable to future energy shortages and run-ups on the cost of energy.

Democrats have been in lock step for a long, long time in gerrymandering their voter blocks by promising to take from others and giving to others that which it legally would not belong except through government.

Obomba is the farthest left Senator in Washington and his writings give more than a clue to his plans. These plans I am sure (given a 2/3 majority of Dem's in Congress) will include:

    (1) Eventually nationalizing US oil companies.

    (2) Nationalizing drug companies, hospitals and all clinical facilities.

    (3) Outlawing free speech with the "fairness" doctrine.

    (4) With Obomba, any kind of socialization will be possible.

Obomba's plan for America is to create in the US all that is and has been tried in other socialistic countries. He will only be satisfied if the US is like any other country and the Obamacrats think this will somehow bring us peace and prosperity.

In the end, I am sure our enemies abroad and little Caesar's like Hugo Chavez will be his biggest admirers.

    Making shit up....
    by middleview

There is no point in responding to your fictional account of what democrats and Obama have stated is their focus on the future.

If you are going to make up stuff like Obama is going to nationalize oil companies or drug companies....you are more likely to find yourself in one sided threads.

Get used to saying President Obama.

    Re: Making shit up....
    by Ironman

So you agree then that Obomba does not have a comprehensive energy policy. Like everything else about Obomba, he is an empty suit with charisma and that is all.

BTW, you stated that since Bastiat lived back in the 1850's his premises do not apply. Now that is just sticking your head in the sand. Humans today are not that different from our ancestors. The problems they encountered regarding governance are absolutely no different from today. To assume anything different is either in ignorance, or an inability to admit your own short-sightedness, or you are a typical tool of the lefts propaganda machine.

    Have a great day.

    Rah! Rah! Rah!

    Boom! Boom! Bah!

    Go Obomba! Go Obomba!

    Do the appeasement crawl!

Obomba '08 - for a change you will hate

    Re: Making shit up....
    by middleview

Your saying that I agree with anything you've posted would be equivalent to me saying that you agree that Bush/Cheney are advancing dictatorship in the US.

Are you reading impaired or just spinning as hard as you can. Diplomacy is not the same as appeasement. Change is vital to our nation. McBush won't help. He would bring us more debt, no solution to the energy crisis, no change to the health care problem driving jobs overseas.

McBush '08, for more of the same (only worse).

For my part, I have decided that it isn't worth the effort to attempt to engage these brain-dead cretins in rational debate. They are incapable of free thought and are only capable of puking up right-wing talking points that they have been trained to parrot. When that fails, they resort to kiddie school playground name calling.

You can't have a discussion with a person who has no intellect.
