Racist Emails
by Dallis

The funniest thing here is the indication these emails give us that the ambient paranoia which fears "the government is everywhere" with its Kennedy murderers; coverers-up of Kennedy murderers; punishers of people who suspect and say too loudly that they suspect the existence of Kennedy murderers; "thought police"; etc. extends well inside the doors of the government agencies supposed by so many to harbor the very people guilty of these things.

The next funniest thing is that these men's obsessive fears of retribution from the "thought police" turns out to be justified, as they are pilloried for passing around some of the usual stupid stuff that flows through all our inboxes in great quantity...

Fear
by Arlington
The fear revealed by these e-mails is that typical of a bunch of white guys who got their nice jobs by cozying up to other white guys who could do something for them. They fear their laziness and incompetence might be detected, so they seek to contrast themselves with black people, all of whom they believe got their nice government jobs through affirmative action. Nice try, boys, but we know who you are.

What is not mentioned is that the 10 e-mails filed in court came from a comprehensive search of more than 20 million electronic documents over a 16-year period. Only 10 found out of 20 million makes the Secret Service racist? I do not believe so.
