Why not call a racist, a racist?

It seems that the West Virginia exposed the obvious re. racism and the vote. Why not just say so? Is this another example of political correctness gone awry? If so, then it is really distorting news coverage to be PC, which only drives readers to other sites that are not afraid to call it as it really is.

"Why not call a racist, a racist?"

If we follow your lead and "call a racist, a racist" will it solve any problem? Will it help bridge the racial divide? The accusations and counter-accusations of racism from both sides in the nomination campaign have not been edifying.

There is a need for a sober and mature discussion of race and racial issues in America. Name-calling does not advance that discussion.
