Having waited until the outcome was essentially decided, is there really any purpose to this endorsement other than, "Remember me with a sweet job if you win, Barack"?

Let's hope that's what it means. An Obama/Edwards ticket would be my political dream come true.

Condi has repeatedly said that she has no interest in the Vice Presidency. Edwards has made the same clear.

So far as what Condi is good at; she's a helluva pianist.

Somehow, I don't think McCain would pick the person most thought of as a Bush administration stooge to be VP. My guess would be that he'd pick another former military person.

Oh, come on. Condi's not that bad. She's actually one of the more competent of the Bush administration stooges. Compare her to, say, Donald Rumsfeld.

The relevant question at this point is - What does Hillary want? It is obvious to everyone but her, that her campaign is in the toilet, and that flushing sound means the turd is in a downward spiral. Is she hoping for a face saving VP nod, or is she trying to torpedo Obama so she can make another run in 2012.
