I agree also with you, if one has to identify and "name" some individual who has stature, influence and is well known.
But the general statement of "some people..." could only ignite the unhinged democrats who are running a campaign that makes them the center of the universe is a ludicrous thought. It shows how ill-prepared all of them are for global issues and discussion.
Frankly, if Obama wanted to say anything, he could have better helped himself by making a statement in which he agreed with the sitting POTUS. Show some respect, please!
That Pelosi, Biden, Obama, Clinton should think that a PRESIDENT will comment about the actions of some dimwits who may or may not be elected is false.
Presidents have power and influence and President Carter had political influence when he "actually went to talk with those people in Lebanon".
That was a major political insult to the present POTUS, Bush, and he was certainly not going to let it stand.
A POTUS doesn't get down into the slime and grime of the opposition party candidates and their partylicking dirt and campaign follies...he is above that, but the democrats are so salivating with the fear that they could lose the general election with their presumtive nominee, that they want to jump on anything they imagine as a possible "hard core 527 action" come this fall.
They [the democrats] are delusional as usual, and they should not be surprised in the fall when McCain wins the G.E.
