does anybody know what appeasment even means? Hint, it is not talking to somebody. Chamberlin didn't appease the Nazi by talking to them, he did it because he gave in to demands of an aggressor in order to avoid war. Chamberlin appeased Hitler by looking the other way while the Nazis annexed big chunks of the eastern bloc.
