Isn't declaring anti-Zionists "Jew-haters" kinda like calling anti-repubs "Christian-haters", given that the party is comprised of little but Christians, and their platform consists of such things like total opposition to abortion, gay marriage, etc, and they pursue Christian goals like prayer in school, etc?
This statement makes no sense to me. You are defending anti-Zionists by saying they do not hate Jews per se. Then you are defending anti-repubs by saying they do not hate Christians per se. But then you go on and say that the republican party is basically nothing but a bunch of Christians who have a platform that is filled with Christian “bigotry.” So which is it? Anti-repubs do have a problem with Christians or do they not???
f course your claim anti-Zionists are not Jew haters is totally bogus. The very fact they assemble this pejorative term “Zionists” implicates every Jew in Israel. It’s a B.S. term by the way. If Israel were aggressive land grabbing “to-hell-with-the-Arabs-and-their-needs” kind of nation, they would have never given the entire Sinai peninsula back to Egypt who tried to overthrow them in 1967. They would never have retreated from S. Lebanon just endure more rocket attacks on their people. They would never have unilaterally pulled out of Gaza and much of the West Bank without any concessions whatsoever from their Arab neighbors. They could have taken over all of the land they wanted from the Mediterraneon to the Euphrates if they were ZIONISTS! But instead, Israel has tirelessly endured hundreds of attacks (a rocket here, a stone there, a murder there) and been willing to enter into peace negotiations time and time and time again…. all the while knowing the heart of their adversary was not intent on peace, it was on the obliteration of their nation. Read their own charters if you care.
Moving on.
Christians being opposed to abortion makes Christians what? Bigots? Narrow minded? Evil? Or is it maybe they are concerned for something you and yours just happen to call an “inconvenience?”
And so it’s the Christians who are so vehement against gay marriage which is so clearly the right thing to do, is it? Funny how that referendum was soundly defeated in every state (11?) that put it to a vote in the past few elections including the heavy liberal states of Oregon and California. But you want to blame the Christians for it and yet it seems most of the people find the whole idea to be repugnant.
Finally, Christians are not pushing for prayer in school legislation. Hell, they are not even asking for a moment of silence any more which is asking too much apparently because our public schools are already beacons of morality and goodness. I think Christians are merely lamenting all the things that have gone wrong with our society and the degradation of youth…. or haven’t you noticed?
Your list of posters I take it are esteemed? I think that is now up for debate, too.
