If this isn't simply a rebellious phase and you really are
of a Republican mind, you are just now setting out on the path you are likely
to travel for the rest of your life.
Your parents probably won't ever like your choices in men very much, and
you are probably in for a great many disagreements with your brothers. Might as well come out of the closet and get
used to it.

Prudie mentions that Democrats are supposed to be tolerant (which is
really convenient for Republicans, as, evidently, they are under no
such obligation), but how do you and your beau talk about your family
