Interesting all of my local congresspeople are for Hillary
by LaurieAnnM
+1/-4 Reply

Brad Sherman of Sherman Oaks where I lived for 6 years, Laura Richardson from my own district and Maxine Waters who I just called to get a lay of the L.A. land..they are all for Hillary.

Funny how Hillary doesn't matter to the media just because the loser in the primary, the Breck Girl endorsed Obama and he isn't even a senator or anything anymore...strange that.

Obama ..I just don't see it.

In all truth and the one saving grace in all of this...
by LaurieAnnM

is that...in all of the calls I made the one thing all the congress people's talking phone answerers seemed to get that light bulb of light over their head about was was when I said my 74 year old mom isn't going to vote democrat in 2008.

That tripped their trigger.

For what it's worth..that matters .very MUCH to Them!

And yes I know you bots can go on and lie about this now and make a bunch of fake calls.....but whatever the vote tolls at the end of end the day is all that will matter.

The Edwards endorsement was supposed to offset the horrible crushing blow to obama in W Virginia and the fact that so many of the white people came out to vote for Hillary, even though he only got some 27% of total votes cast.

That endorsement was a publicity stunt...and to make Obama continue to appear "successful" when in fact the various media pundits and blogs were questioning the fact that those kinds of voters in WVa are replicated by the millionfold across this nation, and that WVa is just a small sampling of what Obama will have to encounter in the General Election if he gets to that point.

So...the Obama campaign wants to "camouflage" his defeat and have some loser democrat, like the Richardson loser, come running out to bend over for Obama.

Probably next week, in the Kentucky primary, if and when Clinton gets a resounding victory in that primary, some other nonentiy democrat "loser" will comne crapping out to endorse Obama with all the usual bending over, and other hulllabalos.

This provides the MSM the opportunity to get off the "Hillary Victory " track and discuss the Obama victory endorsements...

I have long thought that this entire obama campaign issue is something conjured up so that only TWO MEN face-off in the General Election, and Obama will lose, man loses to man..and the band marches on.

It would certainly not look too good if McCain were to lose to Clinton, man loses to woman, two seniors duking it out on the campaign trail who are actually "friendly".

Man-to-man combat on the campaign trail is more like what the males always want to see, and that is just MHO.

Frankly, maybe the DNC will cut Clinton short in the numbers of delegates she should technically get and be hers in the Michigan and Florida credentials meeting on May 31st, just so that Obama can remain ahead. They be some really nasty DNC people there, who don't like the Clinton mettle.

I believe that the Gary Indiana precints vote-ho9ldup past midnight was to manipulate some of the vote counts so that it would not appear that Hillary had a large percentage lead and thus, a larger number delegates allocated. It was almost an even match...and that counts boatload for the Stinking Obama campaign. Yup...they wuz cheating, in the backwoods of the mafia-politico-riddled Chicago suburbs of Lake County, Indiana.

Funny...

If the "Breck Girl" had endorsed Clinton, I somehow get the feeling that your choice of words about him would be a bit different.

That isn't interesting.
by bright_virago
That IS damn interesting.

And pretty damn funny as well. Funny that this new evidence of the devices' ineffectiveness is coming out just now, just as we are seeing an influx of those with disordered thoughts that suggest external tampering, whether via tympanums or otherwise. Then again, it is quite possible that there is a simpler explanation.

I'm glad you brought this up,denny. I think lots of Hillary supporters are not aware that Obama leads in the National Polls in beating the republicans.

But, I also think you are right that it is questionable whether he can beat McCain when it comes to the general election.

I almost want to switch parties, if only because the dems seem so insane to run such highly divisive candidates when they could have easily strolled ionto The White House the Bush ratings so low.

Instead they go for broke , push the people right over the edge by putting us in this position of having to choose between race and gender.

I am so angry about it all, really.

Sure we want a woman or a person of ethnicity one day..but God! Don't we have enough other serious issues to deal with right now?

WHY did the dems have to thrust all of this upon us, now?

I'd much prefer a good solid white male candidate who ran on the democratic platform WITHOUT all of the inherant mixed emotions we have to contend with race and gender factors right now.

I mean, I won't switch parties..I'll vote for whichever dem gets the nomination..but the whole elcetion this year, pisses me off.

Sorry, to be crass but I can't put it anyother way.

Oddly enough Sawbones, the top poster seemed to prefer a white male like Edwards back in January, so that she wouldn't have to, you know,... vote based on race or gender.

I know Woolley. It is over for Hillary. You know unlike some you have always been civil and nice when you stated your case for Obama. Last night I was so mad I felt so angry when I saw Edwards give that rousing speech and endorsement of Obama to the cheering crowds. I was so mad.

Today I just feel so so so so sad and down.

I just didn't know it would make me feel as sad as it would. But, it really does.

That was priceless.

I'll have to keep that one in mind for later.
Changed her mind. I guess.

Looks like she won't have to vote based on race or gender. She can vote for a white guy after all.

And I quote:

Hi ThPaine.Yes, That's Dylan on the second link in the recording studio with Cash..singing One Too Many Mornings. Dylan's song.

The first was Willle Nelson in Concert ..w/o Dylan.

On altered states..Oh honey I don'y need any outside help to get me this escalated emotionally..I am fit to be tied as they say..pissed off and angry as a hornet over The Breck Girl 's crowning of his KIng last night and his Rally at the Hall ala Hitler circa 1936. It was so infuriating to me I cannot possibly express the degree of rage I feel over this hijacked election.

This hurts and it angers me toi a very hugh degree. I will become a republican..I have to..there's no other choice ..I can not condone this.

At least the republicans have some sense of proud in their country and they care about the troops.

Dear god, but this is not really funny. You know what I'm sayin'?

Still... rof.

No, not "ha ha" funny.
by Sawbones
Well, OK, yeah, "ha ha" funny. But at the same time, vaguely disturbing, and not for any political reason. I was wondering about this earlier when I read her multiple spam-lines today, and it comes through in posts like this even more clearly. Granted, the simplest explanation is that of the limbic system taking over after a few too many libations, but it's really making me start to question whether wgoconnell is onto something with Slate transmitting to his tympanums.
