Need I explain?

Yup. There's no such thing as self-evidence.
hey you!

Believe it or not, you've been missed. How's school?
Thanks.

I've missed you guys too - even the horrible ones. School is thankfully over. I'm glad I did it, and I'm glad it's done. I'm eagerly looking forward to my return to Oakland... though I always feel a little tinge of heartbreak at packing my library away into boxes. I'm especially unhappy that I'll be leaving my books in storage until I find a semi-permament home (I'll be filing future Fraywatches from beneath the Macarthur maze overpass).

Have you guys done a good job holding down the fort while I was away?

of course not!

there's a seriously mentally ill person who has been spamming botf for weeks. A bona-fide nutcase, and his presence seems to have encouraged all the other geezers to come out in full force too - just look at the front page, it's a virtual disgrace. In other news, Urquhart is trying to position himself as manager of a fray women's mud-wrestling team.

I, of course, have remained unflagging in my efforts to raise the level of political discussion to a higher plane.

As opposed to the good old days...
by Freditor_G Editor

...when everyone BotF was certifiably sane, and posters spake with such eloquence that Homer stirred with envy in his grave. *sigh* How far things have fallen.

I'm glad to see you guys are making decent use of the rating system. I tried adjusting the filter to "Net Positives" only, and it almost looked like someone was taking care of the housecleaning.

I wonder if there's any correlation between regularity of bowel movements and voting habits... that's a question that exit pollsters have been remiss on for far too long. With an election this important looming, politicians will want to target their "Get Off the Pot" efforts....

read the note at the bottom.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I saw your exchange with Dana Perino. Great job.

You and I need to have a conversation. I have some questions and a copy of a reoccurring issue to send you.

Unfortunately, many days, said "seriously mental ill person" is be best thing on BOTF!
