Agreed. This is the first time I remember her really admitting she did something wrong. I would have liked her a lot more if she seemed able to back down from bad positions (most clearly, Iraq).

Being tough shouldn't mean being unable to admit error.

She did say the Iraq vote was a mistake and said, knowing what she knows now, she would take it back (although at the time, given the intelligence, most Dem Senators did not think it was a mistake).

Regardless, this is not the first time she/Bill race baited. And think of this, she has NOT conceded any state she's lost NOR called to congratulate Obama for winning them, rather she keeps saying the states he won don't count. She/Bill are showing how trashy they are which makes me sad considering she is a woman running for POTUS (don't forget she's not first though, Shirley Chisholm was). Maybe the next female candidate will have some integrity . . . . hope, hope

No surprise. It was classic swift-boating. She made an unbelievably racist comment, made sure it was covered all over the press before West Virginia, and then after she got what she wanted, she said it was a mistake. How long did it take? A week? Slightly more? That's how long it took Bush to speak out against the swift boat ads. Hillary would never have made that comment before New York, California or North Carolina.

Yes she made some sort of appology but she got away with it, it won't be totally forgotten by her faithful and will hurt another primary for Obama. She again is allowed to have things her way, wrong or right. Everything she does is for a reason.
