Why no mention of the IMPORTANT race
by Tundrayeti

Yesterday, in the democratic primary, the person who already lost had an insignificant moral victory in a small red state...

AND there was a special election for congress in an EXTREMELY red district of Mississippi! Childers, the democrat, won that special election despite a huge amount of national money pouring in trying to (stupidly) tie Childers to Wright.

What this shows clearly is that the young voters and the new voters that Obama is bringing into the process DO vote, and the farcical accusations of associations of associations don't work to harm the rest of the democratic party.

In other words, the loose associative negatives of Obama do not transfer to his supporters, but his new enthusiastic supporters do transfer.

It foreshadows an ass-stomping of historic proportion in November, IF the democrats are smart enough to not overturn the clear will of the people.

That is the important result from yesterday... The other gasbaggery just shows that Obama will likely not carry WV's 5 electoral votes... Big deal. *shrug*

Yeah, who needs Ohio and PA in the general election, too, eh?

I hope Obama's got more sense.

Where's the evidence

Where's the evidence he will do any worse in the general election in OH and PA than Clinton will?

In a primary, you have two (or more) candidates of the same party vying for the votes of members of their own party. Most Democrats will solidify around the party's nominee. The real show in these so-called swing-states, then, will be the independent voters--those that are not solidly Democrat or Republican. Independents favor Obama over Clinton by a 2 to 1 margin.

LOL, no one has won the Presidency without WV since 1916. The Obamabots ignore Barack's racist church and terrorists friends and criminal associates but the voters will NOT in November. He can NOT WIN against McCain. States like WV WILL go Red if Obama is nominated but will go BLUE if HILLARY is the nominee.

He dug his OWN hole by being so arrogant and immature he didn't see this coming. The fact that he bought his house with an INDICTED criminal shows how immature he is. The fact that he not only participated but donated LARGE sums of money to his racist church AND exposed his children to the preaching of racism and hate towards whites proves he is not morally capable of being our leader.

His denouncing Wright was more proof that he has no backbone. Just a few weeks earlier he claimed he could "no more distance himself from Wright than he could distance himself from the black community" then threw him under the bus NOT becuase he disagreed with his philosophy but because he called him out as a POLITICIAN, which is what he is in spite of all his saying otherwise. He is too arrogant for words. How DARE he assume he has won and wuss out of debating Hillary and campaigning in WV and KY. He's as pompous and out of touch as BUSH and his supporters act like BUSHIES.

Tinkerbell theory: If I just clap loud enough then Hillary will rise from the dead!

"He can NOT WIN against McCain"

Ginko, do you have a crystal ball or better yet some poll numbers to back up your claim?

Oh wait, I've got today's poll numbers that spruce provided through CNN

psst . . . it shows Obama ahead of McCain

What a load of crap! To act like WV is the freaking bellweather of America is ludicrous!

I'll tell you this - no Democrat has won without The South either, or without Blacks, or without women, or without whatever.

You can take whatever small variable you want and make an argument for its huge importance, but the Election in November is a much bigger picture than any one state, any one voer bloc or any one person's claim to understand the "pulse" of America.

West Virginia is not the answer. It is not the solution and it is not the predictor. It is just one of two states that vastly chose Clinton over Obama.

Obama has five states that he won with 70%.

The election may be close, but not close enough for McCain to win!

Obama '08 (and '12)

Barack's racist church and terrorists friends and criminal associates but the voters will NOT in November.

Unlike McCain's racist pastor/official endorser and the latent racism that exists in places like WVA.

Terrorists. Ha.

You're an idiot.
