Nobody Knows How The Brain Works

"The Infinite Mind" people imply that they know this and that and that with the new MRI scanners we "see how the brain works". They are little more than peddlers willing to damage the brains of idiots that fall for their diatribe.

Nobody, got it? Nobody has any Hypothesis, much less a proven theory, on how the brain works. End of Story.

If you took your car to a mechanic and before you described the "funny noise", he said "I don't have clue on how the engine works!" Would you ask him to fix your engine?

Do you know that Lobotomies were very popular in the early 1900s but basically turned sick people into manageable "vegetables", including famous and very wealthy people?

Do you know that currently they peddle a radio transmitter to be inserted in the brain "at the exact same location" done with others, even though the functions of the brain are periodically re-located, as determined with MRI Scanners and Irag soldiers that lost part of their brain, about a third.

The dumb doctors transfer the ability to tell "progress" by asking the familiar "And, how are we feeling today, Mrs. Smith?" Don't they even know that the brain has no nerve endings to sense pain? When we say "my knee hurts!" is it the knee or the brain that determines that? I'll spare you the rest of my diatribe.

now that you mentioned it...

how about these psychiatric counselors? Do they have any idea what they are really doing to their guinea pigs? Oh, it may be just so wonderful that you are seeking help for your problem, but that doesn't automatically mean that you are going to be helped. How many of these counselors are simply holding down a job and drawing pay from the state for "treating" people?

I went to this clinic seeking marriage counseling (years ago) and this guy spent one session with my wife and I and then promptly asked us to join his group... we were not going to share our problems with his group! So, after that, I tried to seek a counselor on my own; after a couple of sessions with this gal she tells me what she thinks is "wrong" with me; ya gotta have something wrong in order to draw the state money. I tell her I think she's nuts, so she asks me to tell her what I think is wrong with me. I tell her I think I'm slightly manic/depressive, so she says, great, we'll get you started on medication for that. No thanks, I never saw her again either. It would blow your mind to see what is going on inside these clinics.

There is very few medications out there that fix anything; most are just sedatives. There is very little good in the discussions taking place beyond giving you someone to talk with; but most of the problems were caused by talking to people in the first place... has society got you depressed? ... Let's talk about it! ... Duh, that's what has me depressed!
