Stupid little boys.

Regardless of their age...

What the hell is wrong with you dim-witted little responders that think it is all right to physically restrain and badger a woman, any woman, with your insecure demands for knowlege of her past sexual history?
Let me phrase this in a way you dummies can understand:

It is none of your business.

"But" you whine, "What about STDs?" Simple. Take a test. Have her do the same. It provides you with the information that you feel you have to have, and it doesn't violate anyone's privacy with a bunch of unnecessarily prying questions.

And, for you particular dolts that have no problem refusing to let her leave the apartment until all your bullshit questions have been answered; let me clue you in. That's called "unlawful restraint" and it is a felony. In some areas it's considered kidnapping. There is no justification for treating someone else this way, and it marks you as an emotionally screwed-up jerk.

If you are so damned insecure that you simply HAVE to jam your nose into your partner's past, then I suggest you move to Dirt-bagistan and buy yourself a child-bride. That way you can control every aspect of her upbringing, and you can be assured that her sexual history is to your liking.

Tell you what, though, if I ever found out that some spineless little turd had tried to force this sick version of "20 Questions" on my grand-daughter then I'm afraid me-n-the boys might just have to drop by his place and "ask" a few questions of our own. For about 48 hours. With vice-grips, a soldering iron, and a ball-peen hammer.

Don't you just want to smack the stupid little girls that always fall for those stupid little boys.
Wat ees up wid-dat?

How do people (not just little girls) get the idea that it is better to be with an absolute asshole than it is to be alone?
I always thought people were supposed to get together because they liked each other, yet the majority of relationships seem to have this wierd domination/ master-slave thing going on. Talked with a gal a while back that told me she'd really like to leave her ol' man, but she wouldn't because she's scared of him. WTF? What part does fear play in a loving relationship? Were I to find out that someone I loved was afraid of me, then I'd end all contact out of mortification. How shameful to cause your S.O. to be scared of you!

Loneliness is frightening, I guess, but living alone is better than living unhappy.

My grandmother used to say, (over and over and over and over and ...) that a good one is worth waiting for, and you'd be with a bad one too long, anyway.

nothing wrong with a weird domination/ master-slave thing going on in the bedroom, but to live ones life that, no thanks.

Been thinking about this one a little. My wife and I still keep our eyes open for "one of those guys", a bit of baggage she wishes she hadn't collected. He's never shown up, given we disappeared her pretty well when we got together, but one never knows.

Just because our universe loves character-building surprises, this particular wad of human excrement is both 1.) a confused fundamental Christian and 2.) a martial arts instructor. Lazy lapsed Buddhists like me do not get on well with that kind.

Should he encounter my wife and attempt a "where have you been, honey" sort of Q/A session, my tools (provided Reverend Kung-Fu doesn't snap my twiggy little neck first) are different from yours, Leggy, but just as well-intentioned: 3 sizes of water pumps, paint ball gun (with hundreds of frozen pink balls!) and a video camera, all the better to save the moment for posterity.

Curiousity... dead cats...

I'd ask fer details, but that'd make me an accomplice.

There was a time where a problem like yours could be solved with a phone call or two; just have a prospect shove him out in font of a bus. As I've gotten older I've picked up on the values of subtlety and treachery... they'll overcome youth and exuberence every time!

Heh. Did-ja know that some people have been known to just disappear? Dangedest thing.

First, fear and sex are closely related.

Second, it may be because I'm a big homo, but I expect my partners to have lots of experience and I don't begrudge them that experience. And actually it's sortof fun to hear about their shenanigans in the past, and brag about mine. But again - it's probably cause I'm gay. Straight people often have weird hang-ups about past partners.

Third, I've always been in commited, open relationships. That way we both get to be freaks every now and agin.

Finally, never forget that you can always DTMFA.

upsidedownpoint, I'd say that you hanged yourself and your felllow gay partners in the moral department.

D. Blonde, your comments are so endearing that were I not engaged, I would contemplate asking you to dinner, were you to be available. ( P.S. I so dislike calling you dumb blonde since my mother is a beautiful blonde swede).

Leg_iron, I do sympathize with those adults who have a long sexual history and only later in life realize that it has consequences. God forgives, but in this matter, very often people are far less forgiving.

That being said, there are moral standards to which people still adhere. America pop culture may continue to be driven further away from any moral standard to leave it up to profit as the motivating factor, but the human has intrinsic moral yearnings for dignity and nobility even if the culture does not. Its not all about religious morality- humans do have certain intrinsic inclinations which are usually specified and defined by religions, but may be defined in other ways too, such as personal moral critiera born of logic, or philosophy.

Lastly, sometimes late at night, there are adds for 'girls gone wild' which are particularly disturbing in their banality. Nonetheless, where are the people in the lives of these young women to tell them there are consequences to their licentiousness and self depreciation? 'Videos are forever' is the new cultural motto.

When such and such a woman wants to run for PTA president, or executive for that Fortune 100 corporation, or merely seek a seat in Congress, that video is going to remain a perpetual Scarlett Letter floating over them waiting to be plucked out and pinned on their lapel right above, or below, the flag. And of course there is the matter of a prospective husband: does he share in his future wife's amoral past, revel in it to brag to his hommies, or is he rejected by it?

According to some, the man who is rejected by it is the immoral buffoon. But once again, the matter of morals, comes into play: modesty, chastity, dignity, nobility all have value, to some.

BTW, to show that men are the ultimate beneficaries of immoral conduct by women, the recent news of a Marilyn Monroe sex tape being squashed from going public for $1.4 million reveals that there have always been consequences to sexual conduct AND men very often profit from the degradation of women. Modern American capitalism merely makes it legal. When Ms. So and So runs for president in 2040, that Girls Gone Wild tape of her in Cancun will be inflated to a cool $20 million, at least.

I am indifferent to your morals.

A wise teacher once told me: "A foolish man judges others harshly; a wise man realizes he is in fact judging himself."

I'm not judging anyone here. I'm pointing out reality.

Here is some more wisdom.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

No man chooses evil because it is evil he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks. Mary Wolllstonecraft
