You need to understand that in the usa you are dealing with total chaos. You are dealing with a divorced person here, who does not even know himself. He says he wants to raise your kids,hahaha,this guy cant raise a cat. In the usa the woman has lost her femininity, men are struggling for something that does not exhist. He is seeking what I call the cinderella syndrome. He thinks he is in love and he wants to be prince charming and make everything better and perfect in his sexual driven fantacy. Its all he can come up with to have a woman, and the woman wont give him what he really wants unless he tells her what she wants to hear,but worse goes to far, lets say marriage and then it becomes a disaster.

Live together first. try that.Then if all is going good, then if he wants to put his financial well being onthe cutting board thats is his problem. Dont be brainwashed by the cinderella syndrome, try to make a relationship work without marriage dont give into the peer pressure of other people. The reality is nobody really cares what the hell you do. Smell the coffee.

And keep your kids away from this guy as they will probably end up like the others in some school violence or something.

I agree with soflodoug to a degree. DO NOT under ANY circumstances let this guy move in with you and your kids. He may go off the deep end and either hurt you and your children, or stab himself in the gut to keep you from not leaving. I do agree that we deal with ALOT of chaos here in the USA. I also agree that women here in the USA are almost too feminist. The womens movement has done a disservice to women. So the woman thinks she "can do it" without a man. Wrong, we still need a mans sperm to procreate. A man will think is in love and will try extra hard to be prince charming because he thinks that is what the woman wants. Just because a man makes lots of money and has six pack abs, drives a cadillac, owns 14 houses, a yacht, an airplane, and has the most handsome face, doesn't mean he is ALL that. I know too many wonderful, beautiful, successful, women, who are in their 30's to mid 40's who have no one to love, no children to call them mommy, that come home to an empty house.
