If you read about the all the new voters with all the lovely pundits you will see that
a. Obama has outmaneuvered her on the ground by building grassroots organizations in every state in the primary race. He is energizing his base against her but also laying a proven groundwork and identifying strengths and weaknesses in all 50 states long before the general election. He doesn't need her to organize, but the Democratic party needs him to do what he's doing. He wouldn't have the same energized new voter base in the remaining states if the primary doesn't go there. Remember we didn't win the last tow because it was too close. This can fix that.
b. if you get all 50 states to feel like they care they will be more likely to vote in November so the Dems will be able to keep the proportional advantage they have currently over the Repubs in registered voters. You might not like it, but I promise you the real Democratic Party that also has to carry congress does.
c. I don't thing the supers are staying neutral because they think she can win and I don't think she's delusional either. I think the Dems have the first strategic advantage in forever and they are using Clinton on purpose to make Obama stronger in November by having the largest registered voter numbers in history and using that to counteract the usual financial and organizational advantage Repubs have in the general since the 60's. . If they really wanted it over they could have made it done by now, they haven't on purpose because of the long game and I'll bet Clinton knows and may be in on it. Maybe Dean is really our version of Rove and started working this angle after Super Tuesday. Everybody was sure he was a genius the last time.
Or maybe that's why she's bitter enough to be clumsy, because she's taking one for the fricking team again. Just like the entire 90's. So maybe the millenial chicks will have a chance to prove how much better than her they are later.
BTW most people don't vote in my state cause we haven't made a difference in a primary ever. But they registered this year. Don't dismiss what actually exists.
