(Honored BotF alum and still occasional drop-in, BTCNews and now RawStory WH Correspondent) Eric TheBrewmaster Brewer continues to perform heroically and to great effect in the WH press room, exposing both the typical "trained seal" (h/t Weldon) behavior of the WH press corpse (by modeling what actual journalism looks like in contrast) and the WH's preferred means of neutering the seals who don't bounce the ball on their noses on command (the Perino blacklist -- see RawStory link above).

Quite remarkable that it took an assist from WingNutDaily reporter Kinsolving to shame Dana into calling on Eric to break through her blacklisting of him.

Everyone who hasn't yet (and perhaps those of us who have) should donate to BTC news - they need the cash right now. Reputable news blogs appear to be a crucial check on the collusion between news media (who do not want to be blacklisted) and government. A donation is a direct support of truly free speech.

And kudos again to Brewmaster, for asking the kinds of questions we should have been asking (and hearing asked) all along.

Thanks for the post and links. Perino is so rude. She apparently thinks her interruptions will cause Eric to lose his train of thought, but it never happens. It must be pretty heady for Eric to be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Helen Thomas. He has earned that honor with his work.
