Why is HRC evoking 1968?
by Beathan

OK -- In West Virginia, HRC is campaigning based on the 1968 Democratic Primary -- evoking it in her stump speech. In 1968, the best Democratic candidate (RFK) was assassinated after winning the CA primary (the primary HRC is evoking). Then there were riots at the convention. The result -- Nixon won.

My God -- the woman is out of control. She must be stopped before she get Obama killed and wrecks our Party and our country.

I was a 17 year old page for George McGovern at the 68' Democratic Convention. It was the police who rioted. Another reason I don't trust Obama he's from Chicago/Illinois where the Democratic party machine has continually given the party black eye after black eye. Coruption abounds!!!!!

So the fact that Obama is from Chicago makes him corrupt? Man .... my family is from Italy. Surely I can't be a law-abiding citizen, since everyone knows that everyone with any link to Italy is mafioso. *rolls eyes*

The next claim will be that Obama is somehow related to Al Capone (who also had Chicago ties).

Hillary is out something like $7 million to her campaign. There's also another several million dollars of debt that her campaign owes to various media firms and consultants. If she doesn't pay off the debt, it will stick around and cripple her next campaign.

Basically, the world is a much better place for HRC if she can raise some serious cash. That won't happen if it looks like she's just going through the motions.

She's not going to the convention. The only real question remaining will be how negative she is between now and the time she leaves. If she can stay positive, no one will force her out. On the other hand ,If she starts taking cheap shots look out..

I agree that Obama has the nomination wrapped up -- and that HRC can no longer hope for any kind of electoral victory; her last hope to win is that something terrible happens to Obama. I just think that her constant evocation of 1968 is an attempt to make that happen.

I see her saying -- "Obama is RFK; now where is Sirhan Sirhan" -- and I am as horrified as I am anger by her boundless ambition coupled with her destructive irresponsibility.

This could be what Hillary is hoping for. You know, the mysterious event that could happen in October. She might be thinking that if it could happen in October, it might happen in late July or early August. Then she would be right there to save the day for the Democrats and the American people.

She is delusional. And her actions since Wednesday are hurting the Party.

What is your IQ? 12? Have you ever heard of something called a "sentence?"

So Hillary voters are going to magically appear if she leaves the Democratic Party I guess. What a fucking retard.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out of the party.
