After reading the articles about Ms. Lenzer's difficulties with the British Medical Journal, which published an embarrassing retraction about her 2005 "scoop" on Prozac, I have to wonder that she would have the nerve to take anyone to task for failing to disclose a potential conflict of interest. It seems pretty clear that this "reporter" is on a vendetta, and I fault Slate for failing to disclose her background and point of view.
