campaigning for Obama it's psychologically difficult for them to present anything that makes him seem less than perfectly presidential. So, no; no, they can't.

Are you new in town, Gatewood? Slate has been blatantly and doggedly pro-Clinton since day one. Even their occasional nods to reality (e.g. the Clinton Deathwatch) have always overstated her virtues and victories and downplayed her embarassments and defeats.
