The Dog (2)
by vikki

$60 seems a lot for dog grooming - is it a fancy poodle ? was there more than one treatment - a flea dip ?

my hunch is perhaps the husband has a crush on the groomer and is leaving a $20 tip - maybe he doesn't want to 'date' her, but just enjoys their brief interaction

nip it in the bud !

i HATE knowing there are women out there who "sacrafice" for their families. my mom had a friend do her hair for her at a discount and knew exactly which thrift stores in town sold the really NICE stuff so that she could still look good, without having to break the bank. there are now studies out that say this "sacraficing" is NOT good for women's health. get it together ladies! take care of yourself FIRST and everything else will fall into place. that saying, "if momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy," is VERY true. besides, if you can't take care of you, who will? screw the dog! get thee to a great clips!

Depends on the size of the dog and where you live. $60.00 is not unheard of for a grooming bill!! You people need to educate yourselves before making comments on topics you know nothing about.

as someone who owned purebred dogs who needed monthy haircuts and other regular grooming (mom liked to keep their white patches WHITE), i DO know what i'm talking about. she's letting herself go for a DOG! A DOG! i had a great aunt who gave us her dog grooming kit years ago and we USED it. there ways to keep the dog looking nice without looking like one yourself. besides, it's a DOG. shave it! move on!
