... some outraged white supremacist shot down the airplane Obama was traveling in and killed everyone aboard. This would leave Slick Hillary as the only possible Democratic nominee to run against McCain.

Now, if we want to add a plot twist, two days before the election it comes out that Slick Hillary hired the white supremacist to hit Obama and insure her nomination.

Or if you want a better twist, and one that will kick the election up to the Supreme Court for the second time in 8 years, two days after the election..... especially if she won (which I regard as not very likely)?

I wonder what would happen in a case like that: a second-pick candidate who got her chance to run by whacking the first choice candidate. Would she get sympathy votes? or just more rejection from the voters?
