The skinny on Lake Co., IN
by shirley

Much has been made over the county and since there's been so much interest in it, I thought maybe y'all would like a few glimpses in.

Regarding MA's post that I implied Hillary would win "by hook or by crook", that's not what I said. What I did imply was that it did not show good judgement to appear on stage with the very officials tied to this machine and it would have been more advantageous had she been introduced by someone else.

Here are a series of links to today's paper delving into the problems. A look at the system will show why there's been a long history of shenanigan.

Thanks to the region being put under the media microscope on a national level, it might force a change that has long been needed. Mark Kiesling's column is particularly instructive.

No,Shirley, you implied that the County had all kinds of problems and you made sure Hillarys name was in the post.

That is what I call,a Wink, wink!"Use the name to make sure it is understood.

Now,what about the Investigative Reporters revealing just how Obama is connected to the corruption?

Do not blame me for your posts.

Know what, MA? Interpret whatever you want. You and SG want to continue this game, go for it but I'm not playing it. Have fun.

The longer the election year drags on, the more strident MA has become in telling people what their own posts mean...

She didn't used to be like that.

Pity.

No, she didn't. What makes it more strange is that when I voiced my support for Obama, I was flat out told I shouldn't say anything negative about Hillary because it would be feeding the Republicans. She said she didn't know me anymore despite years of being friends.

I've never seen her so hell bent on trying to find every scrap of dirt or innuendo she desparately hope will stick. Sad.

Lake Co., IN: gee, what a surprise!
by Lunesta
A county adjacent to Chicago with a bad and well-known history of vote fraud ... goes for Obama in a critical vote that distinctly decreased Hillary's lead in Indiana. Oh my, oh my, what a "surprise." Will wonders never cease?

You are wrong on that too,Shilrey.I told you your posts sounded like Right Wing propaganda against Hillary.I stand by that statement.
For Boss.

That county that won't be reporting until 11 is our county which includes Gary, Hammond and East Chicago and Crown Point. This is the country where if any shenanigans are played, it will be here.

In our polling place, there were five precincts in one location. Pidge was out there for five hours. Hillary didn't have one single person out there. Dyer is about halfway south in Lake Co., right on the state line with IL.

Yes, it will be interesting to see what Hillary has to say.

For Boss.

Didn't read the links, did you, Lunesta?

Hillary was the one who had the support of the machine in Lake Co. I know you'd love to be able to say Obama won it with the help of that machine but he didn't. He did it with the hard work of his volunteers.

I don't know for sure but from memory when I lived in Gary I would say Obama won it with the black vote. SURPRISE!!
Since you know the area, Jimminy
by shirley
yes, there are a lot of black votes in Gary but also Hammond, Merrillville and East Chicago. As you go south from there, it's the mid to southern Lake Co. that went primarily for Obama. Hillary only won by 600 votes in Hammond. I haven't had time yet to really look at what the spread was in that area.
No, that's not what you said, MA,

and you know it.

I have seen an awful lot of corrosive blather written about Hillary that would realy make Ken Starr blush.

The attacks on her from Obama supporters and the left wing media have been way over the top.
