I just wonder, if the generals aren't particularly aware of who is leading what unit at the LTC level ... well... do they pay attention only to full COLs? Are MAJs below notice? Maybe that is part of why the army is losing so many CPTs. They are a full 15 years to being noticed by anyone... ?
