Opportunity is a small Montana town near the Arco-British Petroleum waste respository where toxic mine waste from Milltown and other areas is stored. The Arco-BP waste repository creates a blowing dust problem for Opportunity residents, and they also fear pollution of the aquifer where they get drinking water. Arco-BP has done nothing for Opportunity, and the EPA set arsenic cleanup levels at Opportunity an order of magnitude higher than at other Superfund locations. In response to these and other problem, Opportunity residents have filed a lawsuit against Arco-BP.
