This confirms the nagging feeling I have always had about the Clinton's. They are closet racists.

Only a Clinton could get away with saying something so inflammatory.

Dear Pilot--

I might not be willing to go so far as to say the Clintons are "closet racists," but it sure does seem like she is not above exploiting the latent racism of others. Hard as it is to imagine now, I honestly think that race did not have to be an issue in this contest. And I don't even mean that the majority of people would just have "hidden" their racism and voted for Hillary. I mean that race would not have become an issue in voters' minds, and Obama would have gotten plenty more white votes than he has gotten in the more recent contests. (Because he got plenty of white votes earlier on.)

To me this really is a prime example of the "old divisive politics" that Obama supporters want to move beyond. Causing polarization where there might not have been any before is not very hard. All you need is to introduce a little irrational fear into people's minds and you cause a "limbic" reaction that is out of proportion to the "threat." The result is that in a country already badly divided, we now have a democratic party that is just as badly divided. This didn't have to be. And it is not a good thing for the party or the country.

Please God, let's bring this to an end.

Where I'm from (the South) there are lots of white Obama supporters, there are NO Ivy League schools nearby and our economy is in the toilet (thanks to hurricanes and 8 years of JEB).

We are the demographic that is continually coming out as "impossible" for Obama - and yet.... and yet.... here we are:

loads of us thrilled to pieces that he is getting it done!

would be fine if she wasn't using those tactics. But she is using distructive rhetoric, while somehow denying that she would do anything to hurt the party, she is doing the worst harm possible.
