He had a victory speech. His speechs are all the same. He brings up things that sound real nice, and they gloss over his half baked ideas.
Such as energy. He made a comment that the energy policy is an oil company policy for oil companies.
Even more outrageous he brings up closed down mills and plants up in his part of the woods and then says Car manufactures should improve mileage standards.
Is this not what they have been doing since the 70's oil crises.
Anyone remember those shitty 80's cars with shitty first generation electronically controlled injection/ throttle, emissions controls etc? Those cars had so many problems I doubt we got any emission benefits from them at all.
Actually the energy policies are liberal policies that have gotten us into this mess.
People claim it is the Republicans. Or maybe it was that Republicans didn't do squat to change the energy policy to make more sense.
Even when the Republicans had the majority they sure as hell didn't act like it. Social security was shot down, so was the notion of ANWAR.
That was someone else's fault. The people who opposed it. Democrats.
Was it Mario Cuomo who had a new ready to start reactor de-milled. Not just cancelled, but holes drilled to prevent it from being used.
Millions of dollars just to build, and millions of joules just thrown in the toilet.

Also was it not Chuck Schumer who argued against ANWAR the first time it was brought up in 1994? Said it would take ten years to get any oil and it would only bring the price down a penny?
Just like with the 9/11 commission to get to the bottom of this, name names, and find out who to point fingers at we need an energy commission.
To spell out exactly who voted for the policies that put a moratorium on refineries, oil exploration, and nuclear reactors.
We can pick a jury of delegates from the working class to decide the fate of the guilty parties.
String them up. If they are horse owners, we can put a noose around them while mounted on their horses and swat the ass of that philly and stretch em.
