Affirmative Action

I thought Hillary was for affirmative action? By my count, Obama's got more than enough votes to give him the nomination. Oh wait, her policies are things other people need to obey, she has immunity since she's elite. Seriously, if there ever was a case to be made for affirmative action, it would definitely be in the presidential race! Has an African American (or any minority for that matter) ever gotten so far before in a presidential race? No, never. So, since Barrack is obviously intelligent and qualified, he should get the job! Besides, HE'S WINNING ON HIS OWN! Why won't she step down and assert affirmative action on her own? Because she doesn't believe in it, never has! The Clinton's only pretend to believe in the things that they think the majority of Americans believe in so they can maintain power. That's it, that's the Clintons in a nutshell. If everyone was anti-Canadian, then I'm betting Hillary would be out talking about how we've got to build a fence to keep out the Canadians! Point is, she's done, finished, and obsolete. Good bye Hillary and take Bill with you please!

Much will be made of the "qualified" part of your statement. I too agree that Obama is qualified, but I constantly hear - particularly from older people - that he should have more experience. Interesting, since most of them were adults when JFK was president - another unqualified candidate.

What, I ask, gives Obama the "qaulifications" to be the next president? Maybe it's his ties to terrorists that have bombed this country's institutions, or his long term relationship with a racist anti American pastor, or maybe it's his hard left liberal voting record, with no bills to his name that have helped anyone in his state. I think it quite possibly is the color of his skin that has put him where he's at, and still he talks of racism in America. He and all blacks should thank God for their ancestors being slaves, or they wouldn't have the opportunities that this great country provides, or the freedom of speech to constantly condem it.

JFK was a commander in the army.

Affirmative action - so you're saying that the minority should win just because he's a minority? Hmmmm... I wonder whether the general public will go for that...

What about the first female president? Females make up the majority electorate, and yet they STILL haven't had a president!

But, by all means, vote however you want. That's the downside of the Democratic process; some people vote for all the wrong reasons. It's the only way to be true to the concept, though.

Regarding JFK - a lot of historians would qualify his presidency as a failed one with many foreign policy blunders. It was JFK who brought us the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban missle crisis and started our committment in Vietnam. Aside of Jackie prettying up the White House and some cute kids playing on the lawn, I don't see a whole lot positive about the few years Kennedy was president. I wouldn't be too quick to compair Obama to Kennedy in regards to lack of experience not being a detriment in being president. And let's not forget another political lightweight who won the White House - GW Bush.
