Obama may have won the battle...
by Anduril919

But he will lose the war. It's not over for Clinton, she may still be able to convince the superdelegates, but that's not what I was referring to. The war is to be waged in November and Obama will not win that. Why? Because we will make it so. Because of how Obama with the help of the media attacked the Clintons. Obama is the most hypocritical candidate there is. A lot will bolt from the party. Don't think we will ever forget how the media and the party elitists orchestrated all of this. We feel hurt but we also feel angry.

Know now that you have gained a lot of enemies within the Democratic party and we will undermine the elitists' agenda at every turn. You have just gained the most powerful of enemies and we will deliver the presidency to McCain to teach you a lesson. The party elite's arrogance knows no bounds. We will work as hard for McCain as we have worked for Clinton. Get ready for an exodus similar in scope to the one in the Bible.

Can't lose a vote that you never had.

Hillary's "core support group" of uneducated, blue collar, white racists never intended to vote for her in November anyway.

I agree that the media (MSNBC and CNN) with the help of some elite orchestrated a belittling of Hillary. I support Hillary because she is the best candidate -- she has experience since she was part of Bill Clintons advisors and they successfully turn our economy around and we all were better for it. If it weren't for the Clinton Administration the internet and IT would not be where it is now.

Also, I don't see myself voting for Obama even though I agree he seems nice and charming, but that's not enough. That's just "political posturing" and too many Americans are falling for it. Part of who you are is made up of the people you hang with and he hangs with a lot who seem anti-American, anti-white, and believe that Blacks deserve everything because they were wronged. I pity our country if he is elected President; we will most likely see an avalanche of "civil rights" laws that in effect will cause reverse discrimination. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would feel better if we waited a few years to know more about him -- does he really love this country, does he really care for others besides Blacks, and is he not a bigot or not (these are all red flags so I don't trust him)!

Oh, a lot of Hillary supporters would have voted for Obama had it not been for the misogynistic treatment that Hillary got. Get ready for a splitting of the party! We are ready to go even against the entreaties of Hillary for unity when the time comes. We'll make Obama supporters feel the same awful feeling that we have felt for months - that everyone is undermining our campaign. Well guess what? By November, you'll feel the same. We will undermine you every step of the way.

Let's assume that Obama is elected and that, despite your paranoia, he doesn't turn the federal government over to the Black Panthers and Nation of Islam.

Will you then vote for his re-election in 2012?

You can't undermine me. I'm not a Democrat.

I'm sorry, but what positive experience does Clinton have? To paraphrase a previous post I made, here is her experience that I know of: Health care in '93: she failed. When that didn't work she withdrew to try to maintain a dignified domestic life as first lady: she failed. When she went to the senate, she could have stood up and spoken out against the obviously disastrous plan to invade Iraq: she failed and supported it. She could have used her position as one of the foremost Democrats to stand up to Bush and the long list of terrible policies he was pushing down the throats of America. Instead she did nothing: she failed (until after the '06 elections when it became politically safe to stand up to Bush.) She couldn't even get a bare majority of voters or delegates in this race: she has failed. What exactly has she done in her public life that makes you think she'd do well as president?

As for giving her credit for the internet and IT revolution, that's a classic mistake of correlation with causation. What exactly did the Clinton administration do to cause the internet explosion? And do honestly believe that a 3rd Clinton administration would magically bring the internet boom back? How would that work?

Look, I realize that Clinton was the wife of a popular and successful (in some ways) president. How does that make her qualified to be president? It seems to me that using her marriage to a powerful man as your main argument is profoundly un-feminist.

If your going to change your vote because you believe Mc Cain is the better candidate for this country than I can respect that. If your changing your vote out of SPITE and because your a sore loser, then your an idiot and do not have the best interests of this country as priority. This democratic split is repulsive since both Clinton and Obama are both fine candidates despite the family feud. You won't see Clinton or Obama supporting McCain if either one loses so why would you?

If you believe Obama is only in it for the blacks and elistists, you are also stupid. Obama is a man of the world with an extremely diverse background. That is why people disassociate him with traditional politicians. I think all the hatred in the world has rubbed off on me as now I feel utter disdain for anyone hates just for the f*&# of it. Vote for the U.S.A, not for yourself.

Just because you and a few others created a bunch of new nics for todays discussion, doesn't mean you get more than one vote come Nov.

Does the phrase "cut off your nose to spite your face" resound with any of you "Democrats" that are so quick to switch your alligence if Hillary doesn't get the nomination? Both candidates have been clear that the objective is to get the Republicans out of control of the White House, so we can salvage what is left of our ravaged country. It seems to me you would give some thought to that objective before dismissing Obama out of hand. If you are so striken with tunnel vision that you cannot see the big picture if McCain wins, then prepare to view a United States of even higher prices, higher unemployement, higher fatalities of our children on foreign soil and giant steps backward in all the advances the middle class has made in the last several decades. Just do me a favor - Don't you dare complain about what you get, once you put a Republican back in charge....Shut up, suck it up and suffer (i.e be prepared to reap what you sow).

Wow! You have a lot of hate in you. Obama is not all the evil thing you believe him to be. Have you read his book. Go to the library and check it out. Go get some real facts....you can't judge a man because his minister likes attention. Have you ever heard the rants of Hager? Remember during Bill Clintons indecretion with Monica. Wright was one of the ministers he invited to the white house for prayer. If he were so evil why did he have a relationship with the clintons? Secondly, If you were running for a politcal seat..just starting out would you care where your donations were coming from? I really think that over time you will see that all this hype is just nonsense.....

And when is grass roots politics elite? Sorry but Hillary and Bill are worth 109M and fall under the category of being elite. Please stop being so angry..it is not good for you. Just pray to God for the best outcome...and he will answer you.

I'm prepared. And you people supporting Obama, I assume you're prepared for that outcome too, otherwise you would have realized that Senator Clinton was the person you should have backed instead of someone who had no chance of winning in November.

I could never vote for or against anyone because of spite.

And voting for McCain is voting for the USA. Voting for Obama is voting for someone who appears to hate America and who certainly associates and is supported by people who hate America.

I just want to add that, while I love arguing Obama v. Hillary endlessly, John Paul Stevens is not really likely to live until 2013. Let's use our heads, people.
